ATI 9600 XT versus GF 6600 versus Zalman ZM80D-2HP

Can a Zalman ZM80D-2HP cool a GF 6600 properly? (Non-ultra, non-GT, just plain GF6600. To be accurate, it's an PixelView with 128 MB)

As far as I can see in the below picture, the GF 6600 shouldnt dissapite much more heat, than the 9600 XT (which is my other choise). That's assuming the 6600 dissapate less heat, than a 6800. But I havent found any proof. Is that assumption correct?

Have some of you guys tried a Zalman ZM80D-2HP on a GF 6600? Is that a good or bad idea? Is it better to buy a 9600 XT? The price difference between these two cards are small, so performance/money wise, the 6600 is the better choise. But if a Zalman HP cant cool it properly, I prefer the 9600.
