I have an Asus 9600XT/TVD and it says the VGA ram does not use any heat sinks on them.

Im curious as to what is the safe operating temps for the RAM?

Thanks

PS.also what is the safe temps for the GPU?

i have added a VGA Silencer rev3 and its super quiet!

However as it doesnt cover the ram, i really want to know what is the max temp the ram can handle safely!

Generic answer: if std. commercial grade part, then should meet specs to 70C. Caveat: ASUS may have a part that is spec'd to meet higher or lower temp. See if there's an ambient operating range in the manual. If it goes to 50C, then the RAM will probably be spec'd for 70C.
