Thought you might be interested over here too. Appologies if it's a repost.Dear David
Thanks for the feedback.
I absolutely agree with you on the business opportunity regarding 7900GT and the fact that users may move to Zalman's solution.
Our development for a passive high end cooler (fits also the 7900GT) is finished. Now we are working on the production preparation. The product will be available from June.
You can expect the same cooling performance as Zalman's VF900-Cu at high fan speed but at zero noise since passive. Of course memory cooling will be included as well. The solution will be SLI compatible.
There is a news entry in preparation for the Website. You will find this online in a few days.
Best Regards

A bit of info from Arctic-Cooling:
The Accelero S1 is a High-End solution compatible with NVIDIA 7900 series specifically also for the GT versions.
For NVIDIA 7800 GS (AGP) the next High-End solution to launch is the Accelero S2. Whilst the Accelero S3 is compatible with ATI's X1300/X1600 series and NVIDIA's 7600 series. All patented passive designs ensure no noise and high cooling performance. The S series will be available starting June 2006.

Over at arctic-cooling, they have an interesting picture above the press release. It's on the left side of their homepage. It looks like it has 4 heatpipes.
It looks very different from the Accelero S1 rpsgc posted over here. Maybe the one at Cebit was a prototype.
