inadvertent passive 6800GS
An SATA cable got pushed against the fan on my VF-700Cu a few days ago, and the system ran that way for almost a day. I finally noticed because nvmonitor showed the GPU at 76c, but I had no problems using the system. I thought this might be a useful data point for anyone looking to passively cool this or similar cards. Obviously cooling could have been much better (and temps lower) had I actually planned it that way.
