What card is this cooler for? If it's for the 4870 you have in your sig, I would steer clear of those two. In my experience Zerotherm products are rather noisy, and that old Zalman sometimes struggles with my 8800GT, I wouldn't entrust it with a 4870.

If it's for the 4870, I'd recommend the ubiquitous Accelero S1 with a 120mm fan stuck on it, or if you have the room, Thermalright's Hr-03 plus w/ 92 mm fan is a very good performer, just beware of the cost.

I've read a review of the Powercolor 4850 PCS, which has that Zerotherm factory installed and the reviewer said it was pretty quiet: 21 dbA under load.

However, if I already had a 4870, I'd use an Accelero S1 with a 120mm fan too.

You know I've tried that, the S1 on my 4870 that is. And it still runs dam hot even with the S1 and a 120mm fan on it. It idles at 65 and the vrm's with heatsinks on them plus the fan idle at like 95. Maybe I need a stronger fan. I am using the 800 rpm sflex from scythe

The XigmaTek VD964 as gotten good reviews and is only 25$ at SVC.

I'm still waiting for the TRAD to come out.

takes up 3 PCI slots though. :(

I have to say, it was real pain for me to install S1 rev 2 on my HD 4850 but it worked! 32 degree's GPU temperature Idle with S-flex 800 ziptied on it. S1 has amazing performance, despite installation can be bit hard. Especially ram sinks.
