New AOpen Mini due out soon (hopefully)

Post by egghat » Sat Feb 25, 2006 4:18 am

AOpen will announce a new Mini PC at the cebit 2006 in March. Dailynews has the scoop.

Pentium M, 945M chipset, DVI, 6*6inches, silver/blue (arguable), IR sensor, will be sold as a barebone with remote control.

No word on VIIV. No word on the cooling solution, but it does look very proprietary, so if it's too loud, there seems to be no easy way to fix it.

What do you think?

Bye egghat.

UGH... I was hoping for dual core support. Like the new mini mac:

Actually, it looks like it supports yonah?? Can you get a card that supports eSATA in that mini PCI slot?

That's the 945GT, not 945M chipset ;) And hopefully it'll be quieter than the old mini eh?
