I bought a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 mobo, and I suddenly discovered that my power supply, a Corsair CX430, is not compatible.
Can you suggest me a quiet, eco, reliable power supply that is compatible with my new mobo, for no more than 100$? I have a look at EVGA SuperNOVA 650, but I don't know if it's silent and compatible.
Silent power supply compatible with my mobo?

Hi Lucas,
What about the power supply makes it incompatible with that particular motherboard?

I don't really know. I bring my pc to a computer center and they said with another power supply the mobo works.

Ok, this is my pc. Probably I have to buy more RAM... Anyway, it seems I need a.500W power supply at least.
Pcpartpicker suggest me an EVGA SuperNOVA 650. What do you think about? Is it silent?

Your stress load power is ~330W with heavy gaming load of ~280W..unless you are overclocking/overvolting the CPU.
So, you'll want a PSU that's quiet/silent at the gaming load range. I'd go with the be quiet! bn281 Straight power 11 550CM for 104 euros. The fan always runs, but at very low rpm for most of the range - you won't hear it.
