i cannot find a good (nforce3 250GB) MATX board for the SS LC-11 so i am forced to try and get an nForce4 MATX board to work.

one other question: does this board:

definately use the nVidia Gig-E/Firewall? it says so but i cannot find a decent review anywhere, or Foxconns homepage for that matter!

I have that mobo. Not sure if it uses the nVidia Gig-E/Firewall - it's basically a mobo that some OEM or other is using that has somehow found its way into the retail channel as well. Haven't noticed any settings for a firewall in the BIOS and wouldn't know about the Gig-E as only have a 100mbps router connected to it. One word of warning - the fan on the chipset heatsink is a real noisy little blighter which you will need to replace with something passive, which will then in turn interfere with the PCIe graphics card (or possibly riser in your case) so some tricky modding required...

Foxconn's homepage is: http://www.foxconnchannel.com/

Only the nforce4 Ultra models and up have the Active Armor hardware firewall... AFAIK the plain vanilla nf4 boards just come with an nVidia software firewall....

the nForce4 has got the Firewall, but it lacks the Active Armour DSP found in the Ultra model.
