What should I do with my HR-03

Post by canucks.bradley » Wed Apr 04, 2007 10:48 pm

I just bought a Thermalright HR-03 for my eVGA 7900GSKO and was wondering should:
1. a fan be mounted to my Antec p180 to blow air across the sink and out through the back
2. a fan be mounted onto the heatsink
3. passive cooling

also, what fan should i get for this baby? :D
p.s. i am not over clocking this thing..

I use a HR-03 passively on an OCed 7900GT (540 / 1550); the CPU is also passively cooled by a Ninja; the only exhaust fan is a Nexus @ ~900RPM; the load temp is around 63-65C (with rthdribl full-screen, 1280x1024); adding a 90mm Nexus @ 750RPM on the HR-03 shaved about 10-11C from the load temperatures
