This machine will not be used for gaming. I intend to turn it into a HTPC after I get it up and running smooth.

Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound
$5.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6835100007
----------------------------------

I want to combine shipping on Newegg. They are currently out of stock on the Thermalake Ultra120's which have the better mounting system.

I want Nvidia graphics in case I decide to run MythTV. HDTV is currently hideously expensive in my small town. I won't be getting it for a few more years.

Any suggestions, criticisims, or recommandations appreciated!

Everything looks fine. Although your case isnt really an "HTPC" case, but as long as you like it thats all that matters.

4 GB of RAM is overkill for a HTPC. You'd be fine with 2 GB.

300 W PSU is plenty for your minimalistic build.

If you're interested in saving a bit of money,
the NSK4480 is $75 delivered, and includes
the Earthwatts 380w power supply.

Currently out of stock, but expected in a week:

The case is, admittedly, not quite as clean as the Solo, but neither is it a dog.

I just used it to hold this:
GigaByte GA-P35-DS3L
Pentium E2180 Allendale 2.0GHz
MSI NX8600GT-T2D256EZ GeForce 8600GT 256MB GDDR3
Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) (PC2 6400) DDR2 800 SDRAM
