stiff keyboard, will it get better?
i bought a keyboard online and after using it for 5 seconds i found it the keys to be too stiff. now can i expect the keys to loosen up after time? the membrane underneath the keyboard keys looks like the ones that come out of those waterproof foldable keyboards.
has anyone had a keyboard that has a similar problem before? how did things turn out?

I used one for years. Got RSI, it got bad, gave me chronic nerve pain. After years of problems, it finally healed with the application of rest, sports and a very light touch keyboard.
I'd say throw it in the bin. After you cut it with an axe. Will save you a lot of money.
In my case the bad keyboard was a Microsoft Natural Keyboard from something like 1997. It required about 75 grams of stuff laid on top of any key for that key to be pressed.
Regular keyboards are somewhere around 50g, mine is maybe 20g. The lighter the better.

I agree with the people who say that a bad keyboard will probably not get any better... Maybe just give it a little more than 5 seconds to see if you can quickly get used to it and stop noticing it, but stiff keyboards aren't particularly enjoyable.
As for Datahand, I'd want to try that out, if only it cost closer to $100 than $1000.
