What is the quietest 5700 or 5800 series card?
What is the quietest HD5700 or 5800 series card on the market today?
I'm thinking it could be the vapor-x from sapphire, but I'm looking at all options at the moment.
I highly doubt that there would be a passive one with such a powerful gpu.
I know a lot of you have modified your 5700s and 5800s with aftermarket coolers, but I'd like to keep my warranty and stick with the stock cooling these cards come with - for the time being anyway. (unless someone knows of a card who's warranty is not voided by removing the heatsink, although I doubt this too)
PS> There aren't too many articles up on the acoustics of recent high-end graphics cards, I haven't found any. If anyone knows some good/useful ones, post a link.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the suggestion, it is good to know that there is a mid-range card out there that is fanless, however the 5750 will probably not be enough for me. I could go with 2 in crossfire, but then I'd need to worry about cooling, and the price would start to ramp up.
I've decided to go with a 5800 series card - a 5850 or 5870. The 5750 doesn't provide enough power.
These will probably all have fans, so which has the quietest?

HD 58xx you say?
I say Gainward GTX 460 1 GB GLH. Have it, love it.
Power consumption, temperatures and performance in the game I play with it.
This is what it looks like going into a fresh rig assembly http://a.imageshack.us/img838/5229/koneyleis.jpg. Why yes, that IS an mATX board, and the 460 is so compact it's borderline cute!

There is also a passive 5750 from Club3d (I don't know if it is good, I have never tried it)
