Temperature monitoring software for intel 855GM?

More popular than ever, but some are still very noisy.

Temperature monitoring software for intel 855GM?

Post by kapetanski » Fri Sep 02, 2005 10:30 am

I read(laptoplogic.com) that you can overclock a pentium m by 20% in a laptop without modifying fans or so, as the pentium m doesn't adds so much heat even if it's overclocked. Can that be true? I want to test but then I want a reliable software for temperature monitoring in xp, anyone who knows one?(only used lm-sensors in linux so far)

On my i855pm the only monitoring software that works is hmonitor.com
The free SpeedFan or MBM refuses to work.
I am not able to overclock (PLL is not supported).
If you overclock, your Fan will start more often. Keep an eye on your max temperatures.
