suggestions for a motherboard..

Post by Ropes4u » Mon Apr 02, 2007 5:03 am

pro normal fashion I have over analyized this to death and now need a gut check. I am looking for a Conroe board that will allow the following.

1) Control of the fans
2) A - 4 connections
3) ram possibly 4 later
4) video card -1950 pro or 7950 - silent version
5) arely if ever leave a machine overclocked for long
6) Good solid warranty and company
7) I will use a SB sound card

Is there really any point in buying a quad core ready card when in reality I will probably just build a new machine in 2-3 years?

Thanks for the help, John

What does 2 mean?

# is crazy - all boards support memory! lol ;)

I would say stay away from Asus and Junkabyte. Terrible RMA.

Try the new DFI 965 but I dunno abut fan control. Abit has the new matx out.
