Does anyone have Speedfan working with the GA-P35-DQ6?
I'm able to get correct readings on fan speeds, but the speed controls don't work at all. The Q-Speed (or whatever the fan control is in the BIOS) is disable. I'm coming from an Asus P5W-DH Deluxe where speedfan worked perfectly. It's disappointing to have to listen to these things whirl away at ~1400RPM's.

I tried myself on my newly installed DS4 yesterday. I had to change a setting in Configure->Advanced->Select first option in drop down menu->Set the fans to "Software controlled" (all in Speedfan).
It was something like that, I am at work and cannot check right now. Not all fans showed up in the list, and I was only able to change the speed of one of the fans (out of 2) I wanted to try a lower setting for.
If you do a search on speedfan on this forum you will find more info.

SevenFour,
Thanks for the advice. You pointed me in the right direction.
Here is exactly where the settings are (for other's edification):
Also, I was able to match up the fan headers to the Speedfan settings (renamed to match motherboard):
and the fan speeds to their respective fans (also renamed):
As you can see, I was able to identify all corresponding speedfan/motherboard fans, but there are only three speed controls available. Also, the third speed control doesn't appear to control any fan.
I'm guessing I have everything set up correctly now. It appears there are still a couple of bugs that need to be worked out with Speedfan's handling of the IT8718F chipset. I emailed the author using the emailing capabilities in the app. Haven't heard anything back yet though.
