Core 2 Duo E7300 Undervolt problem

Post by tomikamp » Sat Mar 28, 2009 1:12 pm

Hi!

I have an E7300 CPU with a Gigabyte G33M-DS2R.
I overclocked my CPU to 3200 MHz, and it is stable with 1.3375 V (Bios). CPU-Z reported at idle: 1.296V and at load: 1.280V.
With 400 MHz FSB at idle run the CPU at 2400 MHz and 1.296V. But this voltage is unnecessary. So i downloaded the CrystalCPUID. With theese program i can change the multiplier, but the voltage doesn't. CPU-Z report everytime 1.296V.

1. Than i set in BIOS Auto voltage... didn't help
2. than i set EIST to disabled... didn't help
3. Than CPU freq. to default with auto voltage... didn't help
4. Disabled EIST/Enabled EIST didn't help

whit RMClock is the same... The voltages are fix...
How can the voltages reduce? Can anyone help me?

Try to put the voltage settings on "Manual" and let the CPU voltage on "Normal" setting.
Also enable EIST and C1E.

Thank you for the answer. Now the RmClock can adjust the voltages, but the CrystalCPUID doesn't.
