I do a google search and it seems about 50/50. Some review sites have it on, some have it off. I read a review of an MSI board at XBit Labs saying it kept the vcore from dropping too low.
So is there a consensus on this? Does it hurt to have it on?

MSI X58m mATX motherboard
Core i7 920 @ 4ghz (20x200)
CPU Vcore: 1.18
QPI Voltage: 1.42
Dram Voltage: 1.6
CPU Load Line Calibration?

vdroop is part of the intel spec, so its not inherinentely bad. That said, LLC allows you to have lower idle vcore, which results in a power saving and lower idle heat load.
