How much Power is my server using?
I have a pc that is on 24/7 used as a torrentslave, fileserver, and media player.
I wana know if any one has a similar build who knows what sort of power it uses, i would like to use a kill-a-watt but i dont know where to buy one in the UK:
specs are:
CPU: e5200 @ stock speeds
MB: Asus P5KPL-AM
RAM: 2*2gb ddr2 800
HD: Hitachi DeskStar 1TB Hard Drive SATAII 7200rpm 16MB Cache
GPU: Nvidia 7300GS
TV Card: Hauppage WinTV 150
PSU: PicoPSU 150-XT + Dell DA-2 DC power block
any answers will be appreciated
thanks mark19891989

I was pretty pleased with it, i have left the power meter pluged in to my server constantly, currently its been on 111hours and used up 9.23units.
It does spend most of its time at load, as runs FAH constantly, but for all the functionality i get out of that machine its worth the power it uses.
i did a few tests on other items in my room, the 1 that uses the most power is my TV 32" LCD uses 150w but thats not exactly surprising
