±1% regulation is impressive. OCZ and PCP&C are the only two manufacturers that I can think of off the top of my head that will guarantee such a low ripple, and their power supplies are surely louder than this.
But other than that, nothing else really catches my eye. 70% minimum efficiency isn't spectacular. And IIRC, the NX-4090 was less efficient, louder, and more expensive than a comparable Seasonic S12. I'd assume the NX-5000 will follow a similar trend.
But maybe I'm being too pessimistic. Will definitely be interested to see SPCR's review of the power supply.

There's plenty of ways nexus could innovate to compete well with seasonic. They could make the fan grill removeable without voiding the waranty. They could create some kind of mechanism for the fan to slide out to improve airflow, maybe even to do so at an angle(so it would sort of rotate out), so that the air has to turn less than 90 degrees. They could include a duct that attaches to the bottom of the PSU(and mounting points), for it to either take air from the CPU heatsink, or to avoid doing so. The could add coverable holes on the side(similar to a certain rosewill model), with attachable ducts for use with the P180 and similar cases.
And some people like fortrons.

Was that really a review?
From what I could see, they didn't test anything at all by themselves, only stated the manufacturers specifications and were happy with it. No measure of noise, ripple, efficiency etc.
They said it was silent with 17 dB, but nothing more. I don't even think they measured that by themselves. It's probably Nexus own specification.

It appears to be cooled by a high-speed sleeve bearing Yate Loon (D12SH-12) according to this image... that does not bode really well for its quiet potential... doesn't the NX-4090 use a medium-speed fan? Sure, the fan controller can keep it at a low speed, but still.
Oh well... we won't know until enough SPCRians buy it or a real review is published.
