I have a Seasonic Platinum Fanless 460W that has been great for the last year, but now has an intermittent coil whine (louder than my video card fans). I'm hesitant to RMA it because they won't do an advance replacement, and in previous experiences, hardware manufacturers will send noisy parts back saying "no problem found".
I already tried the BIOS settings. I was considering opening it up to see if I could find the problem myself.
What are your experiences? Is Seasonic RMA fast and effective? Has anyone repaired one themselves?
Seasonic RMA or fix?
