Chieftec GPS-350BB-101L, certainly not a loud unit

I bought this psu as a temporary replacement psu and i find it pretty quiet. I'm actually surprised by the level of noise. Only used for a day or two, but for a pretty much "standard" psu it's surprising (i bought it because there were one or two references on spcr that it wasn't loud).

I paid about 35 euros for the bulk unit.

I'd like to add that the fan seems to have a strange sound, which sounds a bit like (some) hard drive seeking. It's not a constant woosh, so i'm considering fan swapping.

I replaced it with one the fans that originally came with my coolermaster stacker(i bought nexus fans, because i was unsure of the noise level), the sound signature is much more smooth now. Outside the case i had to have my ear within a few cm of the fan to hear any non-woosh sound. I'm fairly confident this is better to sleep with (woosh sound makes me think it's background noise from outside).
