I am planning on overclocking, should the 300W be sufficient? if not whats the minimum watt psu i should be looking at?

300W should be enough. If you figure 100W for the OC'd CPU, 51W for GPU, 30W for HDD (@spin-up), 3W for fans, 3W for RAM, 25W for mobo, 20W for DVD drive when burning, that's still only 232W, also there is evidence that the ST30NF can provide more than its rated power (see "How much will a 300W PSU run?").
