300-350W PSUs

Post by Puffi » Sun Mar 18, 2007 6:49 am

so i'm building an internet browsing computer, basically. i need a PSU for it. something quiet that doesn't draw much power. i cant find seasonics here, they're all 430W+ and i really doubt i'd need anything over 300W...

this is what i've found:

Nexus Silent Power NX-3000 300W
Antec SmartPower 2.0 350W
Zalman ZM360B-APS 360W
Nexus NX-9003 SFB 350W

... and that's pretty much all they're selling here, apart from no-name brands, which i'm not willing to touch. so which 1 of these should i pick?

All three models are made by FSP Group, but ZM360B-APS is based on newer model (FSP350-60GLN) and should be quieter than others.

You might also consider the FSP Fortran Green, which is an active PFC,300w and at least $15 less.

Can you list out the no name brands? Maybe there could be some good brands in there.

Like Enhance, Hipro or Delta...

Enhance is good; they do OEMs for Silverstone. :D

The others ... not so good, methinks.
