PicoPSU in Shuttle SN45G case

Post by sczj » Mon Jun 25, 2007 5:16 pm

Hi,

I'm a newbie with making my computer more quiet.
I have a Shuttle SN45G case. I have purchased the SilentX 250W power supply, but I still find it very noisy.
I want to switch to using the PicoPSU-120. I wonder if anyone has ever attempted swapping out the PSU in a shuttle case with a pico PSU?

My Shuttle machine spec:

Athlon XP 2500+ (overclocked to 3000+)
512 meg of DDR memory
1 Seagate 400 GB IDE drive
1 NEC DVD burner
1 7600GS AGP 8x video card (fanless)
and a couple of USB devices

is the picoPSU capable of driving all this machine?
Thanks.

- Sam

Since the PicoPSU gets its +12v from the power brick, as long as the power brick can handle it, you should be ok...
