Any newer PSU's that can beat the Corsair HX620 for silence (and efficiency) at around 400W draw at full load? I was looking at the Corsair TX750, since it has a bigger fan and 85% efficiency in the 4-500W range, but from reviews it looks like the HX620 is quieter.

i own the corsair TX650 and i never hear it. my video card is louder. if i was building a new system tomorrow, it surely would be using a corsair power supply, i am SO satisfied with this product.

Yeah I looked at it, but the DriverHeaven review said it becomes pretty noisy at 50%+ load, so that makes me not really want to get it, since I'll be going over that.

Just for the heck of arguing, what exactly will your specs be to make you think you will go over 400w and how did you come up with this number ?

I haven't finalised the parts yet, but a quadcore (penryn) and either SLI or Crossfire of the latest generation cards. Couple of HDs and such too. All watercooled and overclocked.
