Yes, you read that correctly. A while ago I posted a thread on the System Advice board, about a new build. I'll update that thread later when it's all working, but here is my current specsheet:
Asus Striker II Extreme (790i)
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400
OCZ 2x1GB DDR3 1333Mhz (to be upgraded when the real DDR3 is out and reasonably priced)
150GB WD Raptor
500GB WD Caviar SE16
LG BluRay / HDDVD drive
For graphics, I'm going to go with either 9600 GT in SLI, or get a 9800 GTX if price and performance hit the sweet spot. The plan will be to SLI the GTX when it becomes appropriate to do so, so I want to get a PSU that'll handle that now.
Now, I know, I know, "Silent PC Review, two 9800 GTX, heat, sound, crazy man", is what you're thinking. But this is what I want to do, and I want to make it as quiet as I can. More than likely I'll see about changing the GPU cooling to something quieter later on.
But for now, back to the subject, and PSUs. I wanted a HX620 but it's only got two 8-pin PCIE connectors. I'm going to need four. The TX750 fits the bill, but it's not a Seasonic. It looks like a good, solid PSU, but does anyone here own one? Or can you guys recommend something that's quiet and will fit the bill?
PSU for 2x 9800 GTX (TX750?)

9800GTX looks to just be a 8800GTS with 2x SLi connector and higher memory clocks. If the 9800GTX keeps the same price premium than the G80 8800GTX still carries price/performance it won't be worth it unless you are going 3 way SLi.
I would recommend G92 8800GT/GTS ( or 9800GX2 but for now you can't fit after market coolers 'cause there are none ) this is what is out now. We don't know enough about the 9800GTX, all we know is that it supports 3 way SLi, we don't know if it will be 2x 6pin, 1x 8 pin, 1x 6pin.
As for the 8pin PCI-E connector you would only need 2 6pin for 8800GT/9600GT SLi. The 620HX can power a Q6600 + G80 8800GTX SLi setup.
Also have you purchased the Mobo/Ram?

I've not purchased the RAM or motherboard yet, and I know you're probably thinking DDR3 is a bad buy. That's why I'm getting cheap stuff to begin with and then replacing it with better stuff down the line. I could wait to buy the whole thing later, but I've already been waiting 3+ years (long story) for a new computer.
I'm hoping the 9800 GTX is going to impress me enough to warrant the purchase. I'd buy a GX2 if they were reasonably priced (a lot faster than people thought they would be but not worth £400+). I might have another look at 8800 GTS cards but really I won't be able to make a concrete decision until the 9800 GTX is out and reviewed.
Basically the whole four 8pin requirement is a future proofing thing. I just want the capability there for if/when I want to use it. The Modu82+ would be perfect but it's only got two 8pin PCIE connectors.
