It mostly depends of your hardware, but broadly speaking it's a great choice.

You could hardly have chosen better.

Does anyone have experience with this at all? I just placed the other yesterday so it's still the weekend, I can cancel it I think. It had great reviews and some people said it was silent but again, I know they might not be as technical as you guys. I got it for about $100 total. Tell me what you think please.
I did a build with it for a friend, Phanteks Enthoo Pro build, and given that was very low the load placed on it, i couldnt hear it over the case fans, was pretty nice PSU, its going to be hard to get a better PSU at $100.

Yes it is: it is among the best 750W units available in the market, despite the price tag isn't (luckily) the highest.
Whether there's anything somehow better, as already said it mostly depends of your hardware.

I also want to get a similar power supply, you mentioned that the price for this one maybe on the high side. do you have a better choice if I want similar performance?

I didn't understand your question: what exactly are you looking for?
