SR Reviews the Seagate Savvio 10K.1

Some quick jumps to the parts I find most useful: The short version: (In server mode) it's only a little faster(IO/sec) than the Spinpoint V80 on the desktop, which is the only place that matters for our single user environments. It is the quietest drive, SCSI or IDE, that SR has in their database according to their testing methodology which I know we've questioned.

Finally, this 73 GB drive can be yours for a mere $740.
