At only $11, it beats the "no-vibes" and zalman's hdd heat pipes in terms of cost. Does anyone know how it performs?

doesn;t look much good to me, reduces drive vibration, but nothing like as much as suspending it would, basically the same as using rubber grommets. no cooling aid etc, and wouldn;t reduce clicking noises etc cos the rubber doesn;t cover the whole drive.

cheaper to suspend drive and add a few heatsinks, or if you get clicking noises buy/make a decent enclosure.

No way, rubber grommets are tiny, in the sticky they're ranked below the zalman heatpipe & rubber thing, and that's supposed to have too hard rubber. This has more rubber than anything else I can think of, although I'd expect that the nexus twindisk will still be better, and not just at cooling.
