Howdy guys,
I'd like to find some freeware or sanely priced software for a toobar scsi temp reporter. I've tried HDD Temperature SCSI, works great, but 50 USD for a license is a bit steep. Dtemp doesn't work with my scsi drives (but fine with my ide's)I've got two Seagate 15k.3 Scsi's on an adaptec 21960 scsi i/o card.
Active Smart is useless too.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Regards,

I have an LSI U160 and a 15k.3 and the only thing I found that reports temp is something that sits in the System Tray called SpeedStep or SpeedFan or FanStep or something. I have to go home and check what I have and I'll report back.

You can try
Speedfan. It does monitor SCSI HDD that supports SMART. Your Seagate 15.3K and Adaptec 29160 should both be SMART capable.
