Does it behave oddly in any way? I ask because I've heard certain SATA opticals are flaky compared to their IDE counterparts. Oh, and does it spin up whenever you open My Computer? My Samsung drive does this and annoys the heck out of me...

I have one of these. It's quiet enough in operation, but when I power on the computer, mine makes a rather loud noise. Does yours have the same issue?
