Recommendation for heatsink to use with my Nexus 120mm fan

Post by Sgt_Strider » Sun Oct 22, 2006 12:10 pm

The motherboard is a DFI NF4 Ultra-d and it has a socket 939 CPU. I'm looking for a reasonably silent setup with a very mild oc. I have contemplated of getting the Thermalright XP 120, but there seems to be some issue pairing that up with the 120mm fan. Thanks.

I don't want to modify anything.

I have the same motherboard, and I use a Thermalright Ultra-120. I got a X2 4400+ oc @ FX-60 on it. Temperature is better than stock cooling/stock speed.

*Installed in P180.

Did you have to modify the fan to get it to fit the heatsink?

So no modifications are necessary? I can just attach the fan on and let it run?
