Half-height CPU cooler needed

Post by Manyak » Wed Jan 19, 2011 12:37 am

I finally got fed up of the noise of my HTPC's fan, and want to replace it. Right now it's a Xigmatek EP-CD901 (the top-down radial one), and while it was fine for the budget I was on I can't take it anymore!

Clearance in the case is approximately 67mm - the Xigmatek is 57mm tall, and it looks like there's another 1cm of clearance. There are some vent holes in the cover above it, but they are off-center and so they only cover half the fan.

The CPU is a Phenom II x2 555.

Thanks :D

I have the older 100mm fan version. It cools my dual core AM2+ very well without getting noisy.
