If you have a Scythe Ninja Rev B then you can use a Thermalright IFX-10 backplate cooler with it. :)

The IFX-10 cooler comes with all the hardware you need to replace the Socket 775 pushpins and fit the Scythe Ninja on your motherboard. :)

It's probably not going to work with the Scythe Ninja Rev A or Scythe Ninja CU though as they use clips and a different backplate. :(

Nice!

Ninja Rev A comes with its own backplate, and its mounting is very secure, so you're lucky enough to have one of these, you don't need to do anything fancy.

I actually did exactly what was depicted in teh picture from the OP.

Used a rubber fan grommet to prevent the fan from making contact with the HSF and used zip ties to attach the 120mm fan to the HSF. Helped reduce noise output slightly, didn't make a huge difference.
