A friend of mine tried this combo yesterday. The good news is, the Shuriken does fit beneath the PSU. The bad news is, about 30% of the thin 100mm fan is blocked. Blocked fans are noisy and push no air (for that 30%). The net result is, he got better cooling/noise using a Thermaltake TR-2 with the 92mm fan offset to clear the PSU, and taped in place. (I pitched the Kama Flex 92mm fan as a replacement for the stock TR-2 fan.)
Could those of you with NSK-13x0s tell us how you solved the CPU cooling problem?

I bought two of those coolers when they first became available....one just for the fan. The second cooler I tested out the other day on a P4-2.4. Impressive. I also tried it without the 100x12mm fan. I placed a 70mm fan blowing at the edge, which lowered the total height of the cooler by the 12mm. This also worked ok....not as well as the 100x12 of course. Two 60 or 70mm fans blowing at the edge might be as good at the stock setup.
In close quarters, this might be the deal. It's going into my current dual MB project.

For those interested, looks like scythe is now offering (or will soon be) a similar sized fan on its own
