Original (no fan) Scythe Ninja SCNJ-1000: AM2+ compatible?

Hi,

Having established that my original version Scythe Ninja (model SCNJ-1000) will fit a m-atx case, I now realise that socket AM2+ is not one of the listed compatible sockets for this HSF.

Does it fit? Do I need a new retention bracket or adaptor?

probs will need diffrernt bracket , but i belive these can be purchased separately
