Scythe Rasetsu CPU cooler

Post by lodestar » Fri Aug 13, 2010 2:15 pm

Showing on the Scythe Japan web site, it is a top-down cooler with distinct similarities to the the Yasya. It uses the same fan and fittings, so for Intel it is push-pin. Weight is given as 730g, somewhat less than the Yasya's 848g.

Your post is titles "Scythe Resetsu" - I think your spell checker did something there. I was expecting something along the lines of an Onion piece where the cooler was wired into the ATX power supply and powered the computer off for you to help stabilize temperatures.

Thanks, corrected. Shame about the Resetsu it could have been the start of a whole line including Rebootsu, Reformatsu etc. But getting back to this cooler it could I suppose have been called Andy Samurai Master 2, but that would have been a bit of a mouthful. So Rasetsu it is. Anybody know what it means?
