Thermalright SLK-700

Post by Alistair » Sat Dec 06, 2003 4:24 am

My search reveals no discussion about the SLK-700. Is this HS on the SPCR map, or am I lost?

this is thermalright's heatsink for a 70mm fan

I'm not sure why you would go for this over their 80mm fan versions SLK-800/900 unless you were constrained by space considerations?

70mm is indeed a pain, but the SLK-700 ships with a fan, a YS Tech TMD which I presume is too loud for us. Either way, I was suprised by the lack of any mention of it and wondered if anyone had tested it out.

There's no reason to, it'd only be a step backwards. Those TMD fans are loud anyway and even if there was some quiet 70mm fan available I can't see how it could possibly perform as well as an 80mm or 92mm fan version.
