That "Fenestron" technology seems intressting. What if they put enclosed the tips on computer fans?

This looks interesting. 220cfm@12v(if we say we belive the manufacturer). I wonder how it sounds at 5v or below.

Even at 7V it may not be too bad IF the numbers are truly accurate.

Too pricey though. Clearance too!!!

Some of the 40mm fans in 1U racks have two counter rotating blades... whats really neat tho is the '2nd' one has a different blade shape. The fans are insanely loud (12k rpm lol) BUT they do create crazy amounts of pressure. No application for silent computing but neat fan design.

So does this one, one fan has 3 and the other 5 blades. Additionally, they rotate with different speeds.

thanx, but the delta is nowhere near the toothed owl like shape from the OP pic. Isn't noctua closer?
