Fan with no moving parts
I found a US patent on how to move air without moving parts.
http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Pars ... /4,789,801
This patent is used on some of the Sharper Image ionic purifiers.
I am gonna try find a good cheap ionic purifier and modding it into my computer as a fan.
**UPDATE**
Need to hold off on this project. I have to build a new resevoir for my watercooling first.

Yet, noone has done it. The first link in the last post has also dissapeared. I'm guessing it's not a very good or useful idea.

The thing is that these things are expensive.
You also can't have too mayn of these, apparently it gets bad for you.

I believe it would put too many free radicals into the air and oxidise your body even quicker than normal oxygen does.tdashmike wrote:I am gonna try something small first, cooling just the northbridge probably.burcakb wrote: Yet, noone has done it. Apparently oxygen poisoning is one of the chief causes of ageing...
