What PC Monitor do you use?

I'm trying to find a good monitoring program that will work on various computers (I have a few too many around the house). Ideally it would allow remote monitoring also (monitor temps, fan speeds of all computers from one location).

What is everyone using out there?

I use speedfan, it does everything I need very well, and IMO feels less bloated when compared to MBM *IMO*. I think you could get the monitor from one point thing to work, albeit indirectly, by setting up speedfan so it logs temps and then downloading the log to your comp from the loggee.

I use MBM. I sorted out the compensation with Alex Van Kaam for my Gigabyte mobo and it is now included in the wizard. Speedfan doesn't report the CPU temp right and I don't know how to compensate it (although, admittedly, I didn't spend too long trying). So I automatically used MBM on my Asus system due to familiarity.

If you take the time to read the documentation, its fairly simple to setup. It's a powerful program, with lots of features, so it can be daunting when first used. It also has a plugin to do remote monitoring over a network, exactly like you're looking for.

Read the included Help file to learn it, as it's configuration GUI isn't the most user-friendly.

MBM5 with WebTemp

WebTemp allows graphs and logging and as it suggests, allows uploading to anywhere via FTP or e-mail, it also has a built in webserver

I use MBM. Sadly it has stopped being updated since July last year, so I guess newer mobos won't be supported, unless someone else takes the reins.

So what is MBM's spiritual successor? Would that be Speedfan? What is the main difference between the two?

Speedfan is simpler but lets you interact with the PWM circuitry.
(It has logging and simple temp/speed/voltage graphs, and can change the clock speed on certain motherboards - although I prefer CrystalCPUID for that)
