Help on new case fans.

Post by dorion » Tue Oct 18, 2005 3:57 pm

I have a SLK3000B,with two ASPIRE CF12S 120mm and a Zalman 7700 making all the noise in my computer. I'm looking to upgrade to some new fans.
A nexus for the Zalman, but the case fans I don't know about. Would I benefit from getting an aluminum fan? Is two fans a big improvement, or would one fan in the back keep things flowing? Why do some people not like the fan mount infront of my case?

After I deal with these sounds I'm going into stage two of my anti noise plan which I'm pretty sure will revolve around the annoying buzzing sound that happens at random from my graphics card shaking.

Not much.

One is plenty if the front is open.

A fan in front is CLOSER and more direct. If you push air OUT in the rear-air will come in wherever there is an openingLikely you also have a PSU fan blowing some air out too.
