Now that's a bit more realistic! They must have competition from somewhere

I did a search and didnt turn up any other oz retailers with the nexus, so I think reyn116 is right, theyre clearing stock before the black/white ones come in. might have to grab myself a couple of these. been eager to try them out for ages now.

the postage was free. this is what happend.

i purchased 2 Scythe S-Flex 120mm from them for $30 each but both turned out to be broken, I don't know if it was anything I did wrong or just got really unlucky. Anyway I shipped the broken Scythe 120mm back to them and asked them for a exchange of 2 Nexus 120mm. By the time they received my broken Scythe the orange Nexus sale started. So now I have my 2 orange Nexus shipped back to me for free along with my $20 refund to m credit card.

Wow, that was a short term sale! Hope they weren't getting rid of dodgy 'clicking' stock

i just got my orange nexus from them, and no, they are not the clicking stock. Extremely quiet, cannot be heard from 20cm away at 12v.

I got mine as well. Postage was $12 for overnight express. I ordered 3 and replaced my two case fans (glacialtechs) and my cpu fan (yate loon). In comparison my system is running much cooler by about 4 degrees to be precise. The galcialtechs are as quiet if not quieter than the nexus but as far as air movement goes the nexus win hands down.

That's the kind of info I want to hear.
Do you think that the Nexus undervolted to the same airflow level as a GT, would be as quiet or quieter than the GT?

PS reyn116, I was only joking about the clicking mate!

Well its funny that you should ask that cause I just finished testing. I tested both fans at 12v, 7v and 5v. The nexus at 5v and 7v is barely audible seriously had to double check that it was actually spinning. The glacialtech at 5v and 7v is pretty much useless I could cool the case better by blowing on it! :)

Hmmm, may have to indulge in a B&W version then...
