Where to buy Scythe Slipstream 800rpm in the UK?

Can only find 500, 1200 and 1900rpm..

Would it be the same to slow down one of the faster slipstream fans to 800rpm?

Thanks ;)

It's not available. You can get them imported from jab-tech.com which is what I did (I ordered 3 - 2 800s and 1 1200).

The 1200 connected to a fan controller goes down to about 800 at 5v. Gives you more room for any hot days :D (not that we get many of those). 800 seems to work well as a intake fan (going down to 500 when you need to).

Going from 1200 to 800 by a fan controller increased my CPU temps by about 7c (from 39c to 46c). This is with the stock 8400 cooler (I am still waiting for my TRUE). Should be much better with that.

I've only had them in my P182 for 12 hours so it's early days.

Thanks for the reply.

Would you say the 1200rpm slipstream turned down to 800rpm performs the same as the normal 800rpm fans (noise and flow wise)?
