Quiet fans that can be mounted horizontally for radiator?

Does anyone know of any good quiet fans that I can mount horizontally without wear issues?

These fans will be for a couple of Thermochill PA120.2's btw.

Hi

I have had no issues with any sleeve bearing fans regardless of their orientation, I would actually say that it’s a non issue, at least in a computer application, which is what we’re talking about here.

Edit:
My experiences (and others) aside, don’t be surprised if a technocrat decides to slap me (us) silly with graphs, pictures and the likes, so be prepared to brace yourself.

:)

What fans have you been using?

I was thinking of using the Scythe Kaze Jyuni 1200rpm.

I've heard sleeve bearing fans that became noisy in a horizontal position out of the box, while staying quiet when placed vertically. No such problems with the S-FLEX. If you can spare the cash, you know what to do.

Aren't there quality issues with the S-Flex series?

Only quality issue I've known has been slight ticking of the 800 RPM model... And that has been pretty random. My Sflex 800 is completely quiet as is my 1200. No problems in quality.

I don't know about Scythe fans but my Nexus is working very well horizontally since about 9 months
