Panaflo 92mm or Papst 92mm?

I am about to order one or the other from Directron.
Here is the Papst:

Here is the Panaflo:

There are only three reviews for the panaflo on the site, but they are all bad. The Panaflo is much cheaper than the papst. Which one do you think I should get?

Panaflo.

1. The Papst isn't that great either

2. Papst is more expensive

3. The quality on late Papst fans has been somewhat varied

Why not http://www.svc.com/vantec.html ? Do you need the extra cfm of the higher noise fans? Check out http://gizzo.8m.com/fans/fan92.html if you want to compare more 92 mm fans.

from the general concensous vantec stealths are not realyl quiet (even at 5v) by silent pc standards, or at least the 80 mm version I'm not sure about the 92mm.

I recently ordered some 92mm Papst fans from Dorothy (see her thread in the Deals section if interested) and am quite pleased with them. To my ear, they seem significantly quieter than the 92mm Panaflo. I cannot comment on any decline in quality as these are the only Papst fans that I have. Also, the Vantec Stealth is probably not the way to go. Take care.

I think the consensus here is that the 80mm Vantec is not SPCR silent but better than much of the stuff out there.

The 92mm on the otherhand is a "stay away from this product" thing !!
