I think Speedfan has been broken for a while.
If I use "software controlled" and then back to "smart guardian", fans stop completely and BIOS (or any other utility) cannot detect them. Happens on both my machines, and only a reboot will get fans working again. Also, it does not detect my AHCI disks, but works if you set them on IDE mode.

Broken for you may be perfectly working for tens of thousands other users. I would love to hear it worked on every computer known to man but for now I'll be happy if it works on 2 out of 3.Rebellious wrote:I think Speedfan has been broken for a while.
