Is there really $9 worth of difference in these 2 fans? The Yate Loon is $3.60 on Jab-tech and the Nexus is $12.99. I have read that there are manufacturing variations and QC issues with the cheap YL fans, but assuming you get a good sample...how much difference is there really? With Jab-tech's staggered pricing I can get 10 YL fans for a little more than the price of 2 Nexus. Not that I need 10 fans but I am just saying.

I have lots of 120/140mm Yates, no problem with those. Never had a bad one.

I had two, one was good for a while before it became scratchy (it was used to replace a PSU fan, horizontally mounted). The other ticked like mad even when new. I'd get Slipstreams instead (only $6 each).
