waterwheel fans?

Post by mrzed » Wed Aug 20, 2003 11:50 am

Other sites have said they are quiet, but I don't really trust other sites when it comes to noise.

Any plans on silentpcreview testing them? Anyone here heard them?

If they are reasonably quiet, it might make a good way to cool a video card with a large heatsink and a bit of ducting.

Depending on how accurate their noise measurements are, 19 CFM is not too shabby. That's comparable to an undervolted 80mm L1A.

you have to ask your self is teh air moved worth the extra noise?

If it really moves 19 CFM at 12 (or whatever) dBA, it outperforms the L1A at either same airflow (less noise) or same noise level (more airflow).
