7800GTX Silencing- VF900 or VF700CU?

Hi there,

I just got a second hand VF700CU for Â£11.50, but I noticed the VF900 to be better in everyway.

The VF700CU, as I said I bought for Â£11.50, I can get the VF900 for Â£23.50, should I get the VF900???

Im looking to run the fan on minimum setting 24/7 with a zalman fanmate.

Ive been using a VF700 from an earlier card on my 7800GTX and Im swapping to a VF900. At 5v the VF700 has a tough time keeping the temps down on my card.

Depends on the temperature of your case as well Im sure, but the VF900 seems to be a better low-airflow cooler.
